Astarte Capital Partners and SilviPar were delighted to welcome investors, partners and guests to the SA Impact Forestry Fund I & II Annual General Meeting 2026 in London.
Held under the theme "The Full Picture", this year's AGM brought together both funds to showcase the continued development of the SAIFF platform, highlighting investment performance, operational progress, sustainability achievements and the long-term opportunities being created through responsible commercial forestry in Paraguay.
The event provided an opportunity to reflect on another year of significant progress while looking ahead to the next phase of the platform's growth. Discussions explored the increasing importance of sustainable forestry, natural capital and carbon markets, alongside Paraguay's supportive environment with public-sector initiatives and infrastructure projects that continue to strengthen the country's position as an attractive destination for long-term forestry investment. Together, these themes highlighted the role responsible commercial forestry can play in delivering long-term value for investors while generating measurable environmental and social impact.
We were honoured to welcome an outstanding group of guest speakers, including Rodrigo Maluff, Minister Advisor to the Presidency of Paraguay; Cristina Goralewski, President of INFONA; Matthew Nelson, Carbon Investment Lead at Trafigura; and Sami Pastila, Senior Principal at AFRY, whose insights and perspectives greatly enriched the discussions. Their contributions reinforced the significant opportunities emerging across Paraguay's forestry sector and the broader natural capital landscape.
As the SAIFF platform continues to grow, we remain committed to delivering long-term financial performance alongside measurable environmental and social impact, responsibly transforming degraded land into thriving forests while creating lasting value for investors, local communities and the environment.
Finally, we would like to thank all of our investors and attendees—both those who joined us in person and those who participated online—for their continued engagement, trust and support. Thank you for helping us bring "The Full Picture" to life and for your continued partnership as we build the next chapter of the SAIFF platform together.
We look forward to continuing this journey with you.
