Previously was Partner and Portfolio Manager responsible for macro trading at Peloton Partners. Member of the investment team of the multi strategy fund that managed in excess of $2bn at its peak.
Prior to Peloton served for many years as Managing Director within the Fixed Income division of Citigroup and Salomon Brothers, including as co-Head of the Euro Rates Trading business and Head of the European Government Bond Desk.

Previously he was CFO at Vantage Shipping Lines S.A., a dry bulk ship owning and operating company in Athens. His main responsibility was to identify suitable investments and lead the capital raising and asset financing processes. Key areas of involvement included the definition of the company’s strategy in the sector, negotiating with partners and creditors, raising of capital across the capital structure and coordinating due diligence.
Prior to Vantage Shipping, Michael was an Associate at Investments & Finance Ltd., an advisory firm with offices in Piraeus and London and transactions in excess of $15 billion. Michael focused on real asset sectors such as shipping and mining and advised on several transactions including debt restructurings, reverse mergers and asset portfolio sales. He also advised several companies across the alternative asset space.

He also completed a four-year apprenticeship as technical draughtsman in the mechanical engineering team of Schindler Group and Translift Schweiz AG, specializing in the design, construction and planning of logistic systems and heavy machinery.

Petros de Bree
Petros joined Astarte Capital Partners during the summer of 2016 following his bachelor degree graduation.
During his studies he was a member of the student society Erasmus Centre of Entrepreneurship, where he was responsible for the external relations of his committee. In addition, he has participated in numerous Model United Nations conferences at international level.

Prior to joining TPG, Philippe was a member of the Management Committee at Investcorp. He joined Investcorp from JP Morgan Capital where he was involved in private equity investments for the firm’s own account across Europe and Latin America. Previously, he worked with Morgan Stanley in London and New York.

Previously Jan was the Global Chief Investment Officer of Lombard Odier Investment Managers and since 2012 until 2017 acted as an advisor and member of the Fund Board.
Prior to joining LOIM, Jan was Global Chief Investment Officer at ING Investment Management, overseeing EUR 330 billion of client assets and 800 investment professionals across 30 locations. Previously, he was Chief Executive Officer/Chief Investment Officer at Pearl Group’s Axial Asset Management from 2006 to 2008.
Before joining Pearl Group, he was Chief Investment Officer for capital markets at ABP Investments, one of the largest pension funds in the world. Prior to that, he was Chief Investment Officer at Achmea Asset Management between 1997 and 2001, and integral to the merger with PVF Pensioenen, where he was Chief Investment Officer before the merger. He began his career as director of research and portfolio management at GIM/GIM Capital Management in 1983.
Holds an MBA with specialization in finance and accountancy from the University of Hasselt in 1988. He also holds a BA in business administration from the College for Business Administration and Economics in Eindhoven.
Andrew Wynn, CFA
25 years’ investment experience in the public and private markets (venture capital, alternative investments).
Director of Baywynn Ltd, an investment advisory business providing asset allocation and investment management services to a family office.
He was formerly the Managing Partner and Portfolio Manager of Blackheath Capital Ltd; an investment partnership focusing on US equities.
Prior to building Blackheath Capital, he was the Head of Small Cap Equities for Samba Capital Management (Saudi American Bank) in London where he managed a series of offshore mutual funds as well as segregated portfolios for institutions.
Before joining Samba, Mr. Wynn worked as an investment analyst in the North American Equity Department of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) in the UAE. He started his investment career at the Chase Manhattan Bank.
Mr. Wynn graduated Magna Cum Laude from Middlebury College where he was elected Phi Beta Kappa. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and member of the CFA Institute as well as the CFA Society of the UK.
