Paraguayan President Santiago Peña meets His Majesty King Charles III at Windsor Castle

Today, Paraguayan President Santiago Peña made history as the first Paraguayan head of state ever received by His Majesty King Charles III at Windsor Castle—an iconic moment celebrating over 170 years of diplomatic ties between Paraguay and the United Kingdom.

During this landmark visit, President Peña met with senior members of the UK government, as well as European and British institutional investors interested in opportunities across forestry, infrastructure, technology, and digital transformation. He also delivered a lecture hosted by Canning House.

We were honoured to be part of the delegation across all the events. Together with our partners at SilviPar, we are currently investing $325 million in Paraguay and are committed to significantly scale up our investment.
