Astarte Capital Partners is pleased to be featured in Agri Investor’s 2026 Farmland Report, with a keynote interview with our Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Dr Stavros Siokos, exploring the growing investment case for regenerative agriculture and the factors shaping the long-term future of farmland.

In the interview, Stavros discusses how increasing pressure on land, soil and water resources is reinforcing the importance of managing farmland with a long-term perspective. As climate change creates further challenges for agricultural productivity, regenerative practices can play an important role in protecting natural resources while strengthening the productivity and resilience of agricultural assets.

The discussion also challenges the perception that sustainability and financial performance are competing objectives. Investing in soil health, water infrastructure, technology and strong local teams can support productivity and long-term asset value, while active management across the agricultural value chain can create additional opportunities for value creation.

Looking ahead, Stavros argues that successful farmland investors will increasingly be those that build strong agricultural businesses rather than simply own land - improving the underlying asset while protecting the natural resources on which its long-term productivity depends.

We thank the Agri Investor team for the engaging discussion and the opportunity to contribute to this year’s Farmland Report.
