Astarte Capital Partners, a London-based real assets investment firm, and Silvipar A.B. launched the follow-on fund, SA Impact Forestry Fund II (SAIFF II), to expand the SAIFF platform dedicated to sustainable impact forestry in Paraguay.
This milestone brings total committed capital for sustainable forestry initiatives in Latin America to over $400 million, with a target fund size of $600 million.
Building on the success of the first fund, SAIFF II aims to expand its land portfolio to 120,000 hectares, sequester additional c.9 million tonnes of CO₂, and scale one of South America’s largest natural capital investment programs.
The strategy has already attracted investors from more than 30 countries across five continents, representing one of the most globally diverse institutional capital pools ever assembled for timberland investments in the region.
Leveraging over a decade of operational experience, SAIFFÂ IIÂ is positioned to deliver strong financial performance while advancing an integrated socio-economic ecosystem that uses forestry to offset emissions, enhance biodiversity, and create lasting environmental and social value.
